These are our models, wearing our jewellery. The fashion show was very good, all of the work shown was amazing.

Time for the Show!
Tuesday 8 June 2010
On Wednesday, at four pm, the fashion show will begin. For our viewing anyway. It's set to be a good night, hopefully. All of our work has been packed up and sent to the University, ready to be tried on and tested before the show. Our collection consists of six models; two corsets we decorated, and all of our jewellery.
More updates will come, along with pictures, after the event.

Final Day
Friday 4 June 2010
It's the final day, the day to finish everything up.
Matt's done his bow-necklace, tie, handkerchief and earrings.
Kadian's working on her corset, adding the buttons. All her other work is done.
Sam has done all she needs to, and is just finishing her long necklace of cameos.
Sian added the decal to her bracelets, which are now in the kiln being fired.
Heather has finished her earrings and rings, but her headpiece is yet to be done.
The other corset is coming along nicely, and is almost finished.
Also, we're making labels for each box, so the models know what they will be wearing, and how too.

Collecting some more things
Tuesday 1 June 2010
We went up town to get some more things. We were trying mostly to find a suit from Beatties. We found one, but it wasn't their range, and costed a lot to hire. So we found a "just in case" suit. We also looked around New Look for the shoes. So, all we needed were corsets. At first, we didn't need anymore, but after suit-discussion, we decided Matt would be dressing both a man and a woman, both in suit-ish attire.
Looking for cheap corsets was hard, in fact, looking for any at all was a task. We travelled around so many stores, but there were either none, they were the wrong colour, or too expensive. Corset hunting wasn't going well at all.
We wanted to go to Birmingham, to pick up more corsets so we could stain and dry them for Friday. But we couldn't. School rules. We're technically in school I guess, and we needed parental consent. Blah Blah Blah. You can picture the rest.
So now we're back at school. Trying to finish the other corset which is very bare.

The Final Days
Friday 28 May 2010
We've now entered the final stages of the project. Only two more days to finish everything. Most of the adornments are nearly complete. Tuesday, we're off to Beatties and New Look to pick out what kinds of clothing we would like our models to wear. And, we might pick up some materials as well; just things like ribbon and lace. FRIDAY is the day to try and get everything finished for packing and transfer. And then, the fashion show itself.
At the moment, everyone is working on their own things, trying to get as much done as they can. And, chilling to Galaxy at the same time. We're a bunch of multi-taskers. There are still many photographs which need to be uploaded, and they should be sorted by Tuesday or FRIDAY.

HALF TERM
Tuesday 25 May 2010
After Friday, we're all coming in TUESDAY AND FRIDAY in the half term, to finish our glass work. We have until Monday to get everything finished, because that's when it's all being handed in.
COME ON EVERYONE :)

A Funny Tale (2)
This is the story of the microwave.
Basically, we needed a microwave to melt the GelFlex for our moulds. So, we were going to buy one, but food tech gave us one that they didn't need. Unfortunatly, we didn't know how to work it. So, we just pressed some buttons and guessed.
Katie put the GelFlex in a plastic jug to melt. We put it inside the microwave and let it heat up. After a while, we started to smell something funny, like burning. We opened the microwave door to find the GelFlex has melted, but it had also melted the jug.
